Speech Therapy

 

Speech and Language Pathologists (SLPs) provide assessment and treatment services for conditions and diagnoses including:

 

  • Developmental delays

  • Speech sound disorders (articulation disorders and phonological processes)

  • Receptive and expressive language delays

  • Auditory processing difficulties

  • Autism

  • Social-pragmatic disorders

  • Oral motor difficulties

  • Play skills

  • Voice disorders, resonance and fluency

  • Feeding difficulties

  • Tongue thrust

  • Augmentative and alternative communication

  • Cognitive skills related to attention, problem solving, memory skills

  • Executive functions: planning, decision making, time management, organization

  • Reading and written language

Occupational Therapy

 

Occupational Therapists (OTs) provide assessment and treatment services for conditions and diagnoses, including:

​

  • Developmental delays

  • Autistic Spectrum Disorders

  • Sensory Processing Disorder

  • Self-regulation Issues

  • ADD/ADHD

  • Gross, fine motor and visual-motor concerns

  • Handwriting difficulties

  • Motor-planning & coordination issues, body/spatial awareness

  • Upper body strengthening

  • Activities of daily living (i.e. getting dressed, eating with utensils)

  • Organization

  • Feeding issues and sensory issues related to food

  • Play skills

  • Social/emotional development

  • Attention span

  • Implementing home programs and parent education

  • Regulating and integrating sensory input, including tactile (touch), deep pressure (proprioception), and movement of the body in space (vestibular)
